Virtual meeting to discuss data fabric vocabulary issues
It has been noted that there is little time at Plenaries to handle DF vocabulary issues. Certainly this was true of P6. But on the other hand it is dangerous to ignore them. As a compromise and preparation for P7 I have requested a 90 telecom slot for Monday, January 25th starting at 10 am Easter Time US (which I hope will work for most interested parties). Some terms about repository registeries, for example, have been entered into the RDA DFT term tool, for example based on recent DF discussions and posts.0 | Add new comment

web pages renewal
Dear colleagues, It took quite a while until we as co-chairs found the time again to work intensively on all aspects of Data Fabric IG. We are now in a phase of putting various conclusions from the Paris plenary into action. It will take some days until we finished our changes. To prevent you from looking again and again at the pages we will send you a note when we believe that it is time that you come up with comments for improvements etc. best Peter ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------0 | Add new comment

Re: AW: [rda-datafabric-ig] Data Fabric Repository Registries session: wiki pages spawned
Peter, At this moment the DF wiki contains 8 sub-structures. I think this is still ok. Once these things spawn their own real groups we should clean them up off course. The part where we have a potential gain is in the use-cases area. Rainer is doing an effort there. I have put him in CC. Cheers, Herman -- Dr. ir. AW: [rda-datafabric-ig] Data Fabric Repository Registries session: wiki pages spawned
Thanks Herman. You are fast and that is good. But please do not forget that we need to clarify some structural issues, since it is almost impossible for people to quickly find the documents. So I will need to spend a bit of thinking to see how we can improve the structure. beeest Peter0 | Add new comment
