During the 2nd EOSC Summit held in Brussels yesterday, 11 June 2018, the open consultation on the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Rules of Participation and the FAIR Data Action Plan was launched, reflecting a stakeholder-centric approach to the development of these two important outputs.
The Asterics - Obelics International Summer School, dedicated to machine learning and python programming for astrophysics & astroparticle physics - in its second edition this year - gathers PhD students, postdocs, senior researchers from all over Europe - from beyond Europe, from Kenya and Morocco - and is especially intended for a broad audience from this domain.
RDA Europe, the European plug-in to the Research Data Alliance, has recently established a network of national nodes to foster adoption of RDA outputs in the region, and thereby enable interoperability and data sharing on a global scale. This is the first in a series of three calls for proposals to become a new RDA Europe node. Further calls will be published in early and late 2019. Funding will be assigned via a cascading grants mechanism.
