Meeting title: Exploring Use Cases for Data Foundation and Terminology Vocabulary Services within the RDA
There is growing discussion, collaboration and cooperation between the DFTIG and VSIG groups on vocabularies and services of interest to the RDA community. Currently DFTIG is drafting a Use Case for Vocabulary Services which would be presented and discussed at P7 with VSIG members.
This meeting will serve to provide a common base of understanding about the status of DFTIG vocabularies and a review of the DFTIG Use case. It will also serve as a launching pad for the groups to explore additional ways of advancing cooperation including virtual meetings to outline possible targets such as testbeds for vocabulary services serving RDA needs. We hope to get community input & engagement from other groups such as the various metadata groups in need of vocabulary services leveraging DFTIG vocabularies
