Short introduction describing the activities and the scope of the group
Universities and research institutions are becoming increasingly interested in collecting and providing access to data produced at their institution that do not fall within the scope of other discipline-based repositories. However, managing research data in the long tail involves different challenges and approaches, especially in order to ensure some level of interoperability across data sets and avoiding silos through linking this data to the broader research ecosystem.
