Topic 1

• Additional tag file with basic (mandatory) metadata following datacite standard
  • Place in separate folder? Check if this allowed by BagIt
    • Allowed, suggestion: META-INF (see recommendations document)
• Add platform information somewhere (later)
• Additional file containing mapping of schema URL to other tag files (still open)?

Topic 2

• Define platform identifiers (including version)
• MUST have metadata-datacite.xml
• Invenio uses json-schema to serialize to datacite
• Internal-Sender-Identifier not usable for identifying the sender
  • Sender-Identifier -> standardize
• Resource identifier DOI (datacite.xml) too restricted, use alternate identifier at this point
• Missing points?
  • Fetch can be supported as long as URLs are permanent
  • Versioning might be missing
  • New development for DSpace (plausible, but ‘big’ effort)
