Dear Leif,
No, that's not really what I meant at all regarding funding.
The link I was trying to make was between EU (and presumably "matching" NSF/ANDS/other) funding in 2015/2016. And possible "sustainable" funding after this period possibly coming from Organisational member contributions.
I was most definitely not suggesting using EU funds from this call or any other to pay to Organisational membership fees (which would hardly lead to a sustainable model).
I will tell people who ask me that they should contact you and Peter.
Thanks a lot, Jamie

    Dear Jamie,
Thank you very much for clarifying your mail. I think there is already quite a strong support and commitment from NSF/ANDS/others for the coming years. If I now remember correctly Alan Blatecky gave a presentation in Gothenburg where he said that RDA is already quite secured for the next 6-8 years and when we will see new members in the RDA Colloquium (RDAC) that will strengthen the RDA economy even further. I don't think RDA will any time soon be sustainable based on the income from Organisational Membership fees.
Yes, please ask people to be in contact with Peter and me.
