RDA Ireland National Event, 18 June 2015

In June 2015 an Irish National event was co-organised by Sandra Collins (Digital Repository of Ireland) and Mike Ryan (Science Foundation Ireland), and held at the Royal Irish Academy. Invited speakers included Mark Parsons (Secretary General of the Research Data Alliance) and Hilary Hanahoe (then-coordinator of RDA Europe), and RDA Technical Advisory Board member Peter Fox. Thirty participants attended the event, including leading data scientists, data repository managers and librarians, as well as all major Irish funders (Science Foundation Ireland, the Irish Research Council and the Higher Education Authority).
