Dear RDA Finland members and/or spring meeting participants
While I compile the next RDA Finland newsletter, which will be out sometime before midsummer (i.e. juhannus), here are some urgent items for your information:
* Almost exactly a month ago we had a very informative and inspiring RDA Finland meeting on sensitive data and how it has been approached by RDA interest groups and working groups. * RDA Finland is one of the group of pioneer RDA national nodes. To further develop the node activities as the network of national RDA nodes continues to expand, the node coordination would like to collect opinions, experiences, and other input from the members of the pioneer nodes through a very short survey : [ https://www.rd-alliance.org/rda-europe-national-nodes-community-survey | https://www.rd-alliance.org/rda-europe-national-nodes-community-survey ] Answering the survey takes only 3-5 minutes, but is immensely valuable in shaping future node activities. So a big thank you in advance for taking a little time off from your busy schedules to help, so that we can then better help you and provide you with interesting content, events, and other services. The survey is open until 2 June, so please act now! It is accessible with or without logging into the RDA website.
* And the last thing I’d like to alert you about is the extended deadline of the call for RDA ambassadors. The RDA Europe Ambassador programme offers up to six grants of a maximum of €7,000 , targeting recognised domain experts and skilled communicators, serving as conduits between the RDA and the wider domain specific communities to which the Ambassadors belong. The new extended deadline is 27 May.
