Co-chair election
There is little over a week left to nominate yourself as co-chair of our
lovely IG! We favor an equal distribution over gender and region, so we
particularly encourage candidates from outside Europe and Australia to
apply. However, you should apply if you are interested no matter what
region you are from.

Task groups
We are thrilled that the task groups are getting shape, some even had their
kickoff meeting already! Topics are #challenge1businesscase

#challenge8certification.
Most task groups could use active engagement. Each task group/challenge has
its own channel in the PDS IG Slack community

so make sure to join the channel of your interest if you want to help out

Plenary 16 session proposal
Our RDA Plenary 16 proposal
was accepted. Hurrah! The co-chairs will start preparing the session. We
are particularly looking forward to the contributions of the task groups.
This is a great opportunity to strengthen our interaction with the broader
international community.
