75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights - an impetus to combat racism

Dear colleagues, 
Today (March 21st) is the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Details at  https://www.un.org/en/observances/end-racism-day 
The 2023 theme of the International Day focuses on the urgency of combatting racism and racial discrimination, 75 years after the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).  Details at https://www.un.org/en/about-us/universal-declaration-of-human-rights 
I have emailed an Open Letter on “Racism in UK Universities” to the Vice Chancellors of UK universities, Research Funders, Russell Group, Universities UK to  look into the issue of racial discrimination happening in many universities in the UK.
