    The Research Data Alliance (RDA) is presenting a webinar series hosted by the RDA-US featuring monthly 1-hour webinars on research data management topics. The series is called “Collaborations across Latin America” and will be of interest to those individuals in Latin America who work with or have an interest in research data management. The webinars will be presented in Spanish or English depending on the presenter’s preferred language.
     
    The first webinar in this series will be held virtually via Zoom on July 12, 2022, at 15:00 UTC.

    This webinar will be presented in both English and Spanish and will provide an overview of the Research Data Alliance, a diverse global member community comprising of more than 12,000 individuals from 147 countries who are working together to find solutions to the world’s research data management challenges. It will also feature its development in the United States and in Latin America, including examples from two Latin American RDA nodes who will share how the RDA has benefited their work.
     
    Future topics in this series will include:

     August 2002 – The importance of sharing open research data

     September 2022 – Open repositories and research data

    October 2022 – FAIR principles and implementation examples and guidelines

     November 2022 – Ethical aspects around data
