Reminder: Open call for RDA/EOSC Future Domain Ambassadors from your Discipline!

Dear Members of the ESIP/RDA Earth, Space and Environmental Sciences IG,
Many thanks to the chairs for giving me a few minutes to speak about the RDA/EOSC Future Domain Ambassadors in the recent Plenary IG meeting. As we’re getting closer to the application deadline, I just wanted to circulate a quick reminder that we are particularly interested in applicants from the domains of Earth and related Environmental Sciences and Astronomy. Applications are open until 15 September 2022 16.00 CEST. Please feel free to forward this to others in your networks!

I’d also like to remind the group that I am looking to update and expand the descriptive pages that were created for the RDA website under the menu heading "RDA for Disciplines.” I notice there is no representation from Earth or Astronomy in the current lineup, and I’d love to change that! I’m also looking for projects or other interesting developments to highlight in a new spotlight section. If you would like to recommend a project that tells a good story about the benefit of RDA to these disciplines, please reach out.
