Subject: RDA GEDE Webinar on DOs - 22. February
Dear RDA Data Fabric colleagues,
at 22. February 2019 we will repeat the successful webinar on DOs and DOIP with almost the same agenda and probably some slightly updated slides & presentations. It is now obvious that not only many of the experts see the value of the DO concept, also various policy level people contacted us indicating that they see the value. This means for us to even intensify our efforts. And it can only be emphasized that the RDA Data Fabric group and several other RDA groups are the originators of this renewed interest in DO and that our colleagues from the DONA foundation are pushing the excellent specifications.

You can look at all slides from the first webinar at the GEDE DO web-page if you want to prepare yourself and of course the updated slides will also be made available. You should all have access to the GEDE share where you will also find the lengthy recording of the last webinar. Please, inform your colleagues and networks about this event as well.
In March/April another webinar will be organised which will focus more on implementation aspects. Details have to be decided.
