Groups audience:

We encourage all interested in the WG to contribute to the draft document, "10 Curation for Reproducible and FAIR Things." The google doc will remain open for community comment until October 19, 2021.

Two open community calls this week have highlighted important questions about the scope and framing of the document and we welcome further comment. We also seek input on specific topics such as provenance, automation and code-based workflows, and machine-readable metadata; if you have expertise in these areas and thoughts about how they relate to curation and verification in the context of reproducibility we look forward to your input!

We also take this opportunity to invite all WG members to our session at the RDA 18th Plenary Meeting which will take place virtually on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, 22:30-00:00 UTC (Breakout 3). Please be aware that early bird registration ends October 25, 2021. At the session, "Connecting the Dots on Curating for FAIR and Reproducible Research," we will be updating on the work of subgroups 1, 2, and 4, discussing the draft "10 Curation for Reproducible and FAIR Things," and inviting community discussion of the document and other WG topics.

As always, your active involvement is most welcome.
