Of possible interest: “Taking the Pulse" on reproducibility

19 Mar 2021
Groups audience:

Of possible interest to CURE-FAIR WG members: The ACM Emerging Interest Group on Reproducibility and Replicability aims to foster a broad and inclusive intellectual community around the issues of reproducibility of computational research. The group is co-chaired by Victoria Stodden and Philippe Bonnet. The EIG’s Practices WG is extending an invitation to the community to engage in conversation about topics related to the reproducibility of computational research via the blog, “Taking the Pulse.” In a series of open community meetings, the P-WG will explore issues related to reproducibility and document the views of different communities, culminating in recommendations informed by current practices. The P-WG will hold a forum for conversation about these topics over the course of several months starting in March 2021. Each month will focus on a particular topic related to reproducibility: principles, solutions, training, publishing, and preservation. The first meeting is on reproducibility principles and will take place on March 25, 12 PM (EDT). Please join the conversation! More information is available on the “Taking the Pulse” blog.
