    Dear all,
Plan4all will again organize INSPIRE Hack. This is Hackathon focused more on professionals, than students and this group. See the concept http://ijsdir.jrc.ec.europa.eu/index.php/ijsdir/article/download/481/429.
This is the third year of the INSPIRE Hackathon. The workshop aims to present the hackathon results and award the best projects. The hack will start before the conference already in July 2018. The hackathon itself and the team work will be done remotely.
The INSPIRE Hackathon 2018 is in line with the motto of the INSPIRE Conference – “Make it work together”. Collaboration and sharing experience in the domain of spatial data and services and linking these to other domains is the main objective of the INSPIRE hackathon.
The topics of the INSPIRE Hackathon 2018 include: How to easily integrate INSPIRE, GEOSS, COPERNICUS data with data from other domains using web APIs, and create value added applications. The target domains include:
    – Agriculture and sustainable bioeconomy
    – Transport applications for policy making
    – Planning
    – Environmental protection
    – Internet of Things
    – Weather
    – Biodiversity
Each team will be evaluated by the jury based on the following criteria:
    – INSPIRE, COPERNICUS and GEOSS relevance
    – Easy access to data and services
    – Innovation
    – Environmental/societal value
    – Cross sectoral interoperability
    – Cross boundary interoperability
As you can see, main focus will be on using different API. We are now looking for potential partners, who can cooperate with us on preparation. Hackathon will be organized in two steps, first we have defined different API, then we will start organize call for teams and start with development. ON INSPIRE conference will be presented the results. We have already experience and history and some previous results are currently extended and become part of different implementation.
We will start with promotion of Hack next week, so I would like ask all, who cann cooperate contact me ASAP
