2018 marks the 175th year of the Broadbalk long-term experiment on wheat at Rothamsted Research UK. To mark the occassion we're hosting a conference titled The future of long-term experiments in Agricultural Science, 21-23 May.
The details of the programme are still in development but we are planning on a couple of sessions focusing on data and statistics. The data session will have an emphasis on the issues around discoverability and interoperability of existing agricultural long-term agricultural experiments and datasets and adoption of FAIR data principles to realise the scientific potential of these data.
