GEO-XII Plenary & Mexico City Ministerial Summit

As a global, voluntary partnership, the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) was founded on the principle that Earth observations are crucial for development planning,decision-making and assessment. Coordinated, comprehensive and sustained Earth observations improve human health, safety and welfare; alleviate poverty and other suffering; protect the global environment and achieve sustainable development; and encourage innovation and economic growth. Through its 97 Member governments and 87 Participating Organizations,GEO facilitates the sharing of data and other knowledge derived from Earth observations across a range of essential societal benefit areas. GEO is establishing the Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS) to enable an integrated understanding of this knowledge across disciplines and to inform decisions at critical levels.

Help shape this system and address the fast-accelerating challenges faced by our populations, economies and planet!

Join us in Mexico City to:

• Identify and deliver the value of shared Earth observation data

• Provide tangible benefits to your populations

• Engage in shaping the future of Earth observations
