Dear colleagues and friends, CODATA-RDA IG on Legal Interoperability of Research Data,
Please find attached the ‘final’ version of the Principles and Guidelines! A huge thanks to Gail and Paul for the penultimate edits. The group as a whole now has until COB Weds 19 Oct to undertake any final proof reading. We are now concerned only with typos and any obvious infelicities in meaning, improved references/footnotes at a push but no substantive edits.
I will post this to Zenodo on Thursday 20 October and circulate the publication details then.
With very best wishes,
Simon.

Thanks Simon. The flight I was coming from (Munich to Madrid) last Friday was delayed 90m and I was still on the plane by 15:00 OM CET. I´ll try to catch up with farther developments towards Barcelona once I talk to Paul.

Dear all,
I've just joint the group and curious if the document is available somewhere to give it a read.
Thanks,

Dear Gail, dear all,
I had a closer look at the References list and made some final corrections, see attachment.
General remarks:
1. The use of mention “Accessed…(followed by date)” of web pages is not consistent throughout the list, I think. Less than half of the web references have this mention.
2. If a DOI appears in a reference, it should be made “clickable” (cf. a few examples in the attachment). In that case no additional URL is needed (not even an access date – the DOI should guarantee persistence).
Best,
Herbert
