Hi all,
Attached are the updated Guidelines, with redlined changes in Guidelines 1,
2, and 3, and in the Definitions and References sections. Please
concentrate on those, although all comments are welcome. There are still a
few Definitions I have not revised or added, the Nature article we got
yesterday, and of course your comments. I think we can conclude next week.
I look forward to speaking with you tomorrow at the usual time. If you are
unable to join the telcon, please send and written comments and suggested
edits by next Monday.
Cheers,
Paul

Dear All,
You find attached the text with some additional corrections and a few comments I made. One of the comments is about the recently updated H2020 OA Guidelines, by which the Open Research Data Pilot is extended to all H2020 projects (“open access becomes the default setting for research data”) from 2017 on.
See http://ec.europa.eu/research/press/2016/pdf/opendata-infographic_072016.....
Consequently, the “opt-in” example, in the Optional harmonization paragraph (Guideline 5A), should be removed (we could talk about the “opt-out” here instead).
Cheers
Herbert
