Groups audience:
The IGAD might be interested to know that a Task Group on Agriculture Data, Knowledge for Learning and Innovation was endorsed by the CODATA General Assembly in Gaborone in October - http://www.codata.org/task-groups/agriculture-data
Perhaps you already have contacts, though I don't see any mention of RDA in the TG blurb.
Note that primary participation in the CODATA group is from Africa, which complements the stronger focus on Asia from the RDA group.

Hi Simon, and TG chairs
Thank you for the info! We have been collaborating with some of the chairs particularly inviting them to the IGAD meetings in the past. David is not working at WB anymore, but we are in contact with Boniface and John. My two cents, this task force has been there for some years now, is there anything new in terms of group activities and time plan? From the link below I see the info published in 2016.
