RDA P9 Active DMPs IG Follow-up Activities

Dear all,
Following the action items from the plenary meeting we are going to have a kick-off call for the DMP Common Standards group on Wednesday 10.05.2017 at 19 CET (17 UTC).
The planned agenda is as follows:
- getting to know each other
- case statement (CS) procedure
- focus and goals of the working group
- timeline and tasks assignment for writing the CS

We had a productive Active DMP IG session in Barcelona earlier this month. Many thanks to all those who attended in person and remotely. It was a very popular session!

The session reported on recent work regarding active, machine-actionable DMPs and suggested various topics for new working groups to take these activities further.
Five new RDA Working Groups were proposed and are now getting started:
* Common standards for DMPs
* Routes to expose / publish / deposit DMPs
* Domain/infrastructure specialization
* Funder liaison
* Software management plans
