While the core features traditionally associated with research libraries continue to play a central role, Columbia University Libraries/Information Services embrace a broader range, extending the conception of the research library.

The goal is to provide excellent service to students and faculty that will advance their research, teaching, and learning and to support library users anytime and anywhere.
