Date & time: Thursday 3rd March - 11:00 - 12:30 - Working Meeting Session 7
Group name: Belmont Forum e-Infrastructure Initiative
Meeting title: e-Infrastructure for Global Change Research
The Belmont Forum consortium of science funding agencies in 20+ countries, and the European Commission, in Fall 2015, adopted a set of data principles and policy, as part of an international effort to implement an e-infrastructure in support of global change research funded by the agencies. The Belmont Forum recognized they can fill a unique need by helping coordinate, communicate, and collaborate with data management and e-infrastructures around the world, to facilitate a global approach to meeting researchers needs. The implementation plan will be launched in January 2016.
