I am a Data Steward at the TU Delft Faculties of Applied Sciences, and Mechanical, Maritime and Materials Engineering. At the same time, I am a PhD candidate of Erasmus MC Rotterdam and I am writing my thesis which is about UV-induced DNA damage repair in mammalian cells. I work as a Data Steward since March 2018 and it has been a very enjoyable experience to join TU Delft as well as the Open Science and FAIR data community during the last 8 months.

Athena Research Center (ARC), as the coordinator of the Greek RDA national node and the Greek OpenAIRE NOAD, organized a two day national symposium on “Open Science in the Greek Research Ecosystem: Research Data, Procedures and Collaborations” on 29 - 30 November in Athens. The symposium was co-organised by OpenAIRE, RDA Europe and the project for the Hellenic National Data Service - HELIX, and was the first attempt to bring together all stakeholders who act under the umbrella of Open Science in the national academic and research ecosystem.
The first annual meeting of the RDA France National Node was held on December 5th, 2018, the second day of the first ever Journées Nationales de la Science Ouverte (4-6 December, JNSO2018, Open Science National Days, see below). The National Node was created in March 2018 within the framework of the RDA Europe 4.0 project. It is the link between the national community, RDA Global and RDA Europe, it organises national activities related to RDA and disseminates information about RDA and RDA Europe activities to the French community to encourage participation. It is managed by CNRS, and coordinated by us, Françoise Genova (Strasbourg Astronomical Observatory) and Francis André (CNRS/DIST).
